Performance marketing for e-commerce

We manage 1 million dollars a year in paid media. Every dollar has to turn into a sale.

We operate budgets above $50,000 USD per month for e-commerce brands, from construction and remodeling to fashion.

All your metrics work under one master metric called the Healthy Customer Acquisition Cost (HCAC): paying for a sale within an acceptable profit margin.

The craft

Performance marketing is the Formula 1 of digital marketing.

It is complex work. Bids, audiences, creatives, landing pages, attribution, and algorithms that keep changing, all moving at the same time, and all deciding whether a dollar comes back or not.

Here only results count. Not reach, not likes, not a pretty report. Only results.

  • Bids
  • Audiences
  • Creatives
  • Landing pages
  • Tracking and attribution
  • Algorithms
  • Budget

If you sell online, you have one concern: that every dollar invested turns into a sale. It is the right question. And a report of clicks or impressions does not answer it.

The cost of getting it wrong

The cost of getting it wrong is leaving money on the table.

It's not what you spend badly that costs the most. It's what that same budget could have sold: sales that the money you have today could already have generated, and that don't show up in any report.

01

Campaigns

The same ad for someone who barely knows you and for someone who is ready to buy.

02

Pages

The visitor the campaign already paid for and the page couldn't convert.

03

Audiences

Budget spent on people who were never going to buy.

The real decision

You need an adult watching the teenagers.

You already have an agency or creatives developing your ads. They produce, publish, and test. What nobody watches is whether all of that turns into sales.

Without a senior performance expert

  • They produce ads; nobody holds them accountable for sales.
  • They report reach, clicks, and likes.
  • They don't know your margin.
  • Everyone optimizes their own piece; nobody sees the whole system.

With a senior performance expert

  • Defines what a profitable sale is.
  • Defines a strategy for each buyer persona, based on their level of awareness.
  • Designs the creative pieces for specific funnel stages.
  • Decides which ad deserves budget and which gets cut.
  • Asks every creative piece to answer in sales.
  • Turns everyone's work into measurable results.

Your agency keeps doing the art. We make sure every dollar comes back.

How it works

Seven steps. One virtuous circle.

  1. 01

    HCAC

    Healthy Customer Acquisition Cost

We define the most you can pay for a new customer without losing profit. It is the yardstick everything else is measured against.

  2. 02

    Funnel and strategy

    For your main buyer personas

We design the funnel from TOFU to BOFU for each buyer persona: what they need to see at each stage and on which page.

  3. 03

    Tracking

What isn't measured can't be improved

We configure tracking and attribution so that every sale can be traced back to the ad that originated it.

  4. 04

    Audience creation

    For each buyer persona

We build audiences from real signals from your site and your market, not from the platform's generic targeting.

  5. 05

    Assets and copy

We define which assets each audience needs and we write the copy for each ad. Creative production, video, and design can stay with your team or your agency.

  6. 06

    Test and measure

    Traffic and conversion analysis

Heatmaps, session recordings, and click maps on every page show where the visitor hesitates, gets distracted, or leaves.

  7. 07

    Scale

    A virtuous circle

We implement new assets constantly. What wins gets more budget; what doesn't gets cut. Each cycle feeds the next.

For decision-makers

What changes for your business.

01

More sales with the same budget

Today's investment is reallocated toward what does sell. The goal is not to spend more: it is for the same money to produce more sales.

02

Profit, not volume

Every channel and every campaign is evaluated by the profit it leaves, not by the clicks it generates. What leaves no margin gets cut.

03

Business KPIs, not vanity metrics

We report sales, profit, ROAS, and HCAC. Not impressions, not reach, not followers.

Frequently asked questions

Before we talk, this is what people usually ask.

Your current agency can keep doing the art: the videos, the graphic design, and the management of your social networks. Leave the complex work —account structure, tracking, audiences, pages, and budget— to us. Most paid media agencies report on platform metrics: CTR, CPC, ROAS. Those metrics tell you whether the campaign is efficient, not whether the business is profitable. We first audit against the HCAC (Healthy Customer Acquisition Cost) and from there we decide which channel, campaign, or audience stays and which gets cut.

Performance marketing is the advertising model where you pay for the result —a click, a lead, a sale— and not for ad exposure. Traditional brand advertising is bought and paid for by impressions or reach (CPM), with no guarantee that it translates into anything measurable. Performance channels —SEM/PPC, paid social, programmatic, affiliates— are paid under models such as CPA, CPL, CPC, or ROAS, which lets you trace every dollar to the action that generated it.

It is not limited to the campaign. A well-bid campaign that lands on a page that doesn't convert is still losing money. That is why we map each campaign against the funnel stage it corresponds to —TOFU, MOFU, or BOFU— and its specific landing page, and we optimize those pages with real behavior data: heatmaps, user session recordings, and click maps that show exactly where a visitor hesitates, gets distracted, or leaves.

Audiences are not defined once at the start of the campaign: they are built for each buyer persona, with real behavior signals over time. We configure custom events in Google Tag Manager that capture intent actions specific to each business; in B2B, for example, downloading a technical datasheet is usually a much stronger intent signal than a simple visit. On top of that we add external signals, such as when a target account visits your competitors' pages. Those signals feed increasingly refined custom and lookalike audiences.

If you invest at least 45,000 Mexican pesos per month in campaigns, this service is for you.

8 weeks from setup is enough time for Google's algorithm to stabilize. From there, budget decisions are made with the data from your own account.

We will recommend other types of campaigns that are better suited to the maturity level of your digital sales process.
